Manual to Automated IRROPS Notification for LCC 1 to LCC 2

IRROPs are inevitable but manual checks and interventions often increase load on the airline and airport systems and stretch man power to the maximum capacity. Phonon worked towards automating IRROPs job creation to reduce manual labor as well as errors.

The process

Challenges

Active Monitoring

The Flight Status Dashboard required constant tracking to ensure timely actions.

Start Time Errors

Users sometimes selected past start times, leading to job creation failures.

Time Consumption

Constant monitoring of flights to detect IRROPS conditions in real-time.

Manual Errors

Data entry and selection were prone to mistakes or inconsistencies.

Campaign Confusion

Users often faced difficulty choosing the right campaign (planned/unplanned) and aligning job start times.

Solutions

Flight Status Dashboard

Displays all flights for the selected date, highlighting delayed ones for quick identification.

Auto-Populated Data

Selecting “Delayed” auto-fills flight details and campaign ID in the Create Job page.

Minimal User Input

Users only need to input Broadcast Type (WhatsApp, SMS, Email, Voice), Job Start Date, and Time; other data is auto-fetched from flight records.

Cancel Button Integration

Clicking “Cancel” redirects to Create Job. auto-filling fields for cancelled flights.

Delay and Prepone Button Integration

Adjust flight timings seamlessly; details auto-update for accurate job creation.

Results

1. Efficiency Gains

Automation drastically reduces the time needed for job creation.

2. Error Reduction

Minimizing manual steps decreases the likelihood of human errors in data entry and job creation.

3. Scalability

The system efficiently handles high volumes of jobs without impacting performance.

4. Reliability

Automated workflows ensure consistent, accurate and timely job creation and notifications without manual input.
